Your healthcare provider will take steps to see if you have an active infection (including hepatitis B virus or tuberculosis) and treat it, if necessary, before allowing you to start or continue taking ENSPRYNG.
If you and your doctor decide you can self-administer ENSPRYNG at home, make sure you have a conversation about all the potential side effects you should be looking out for. Talk to your doctor right away if you experience any side effects, including any signs of an infection or an allergic reaction.
Your healthcare provider should order blood tests (including liver function) before and while you are receiving ENSPRYNG. They will determine how often you will need to have these blood tests. Make sure you get all your follow-up blood tests as ordered by your healthcare provider.
Genentech is here to support starting you on ENSPRYNG as quickly as possible.
